Wilhelm Drop does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device. We have no servers. We receive no data from you.
What Wilhelm Drop Does
Wilhelm Drop uses your iPhone's accelerometer to detect when your phone is dropped and plays a sound effect in response. You can record custom sounds using your microphone. That's it.
Data We Collect
We collect nothing.
Motion and accelerometer data is processed in real time on your device only. It is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
Audio recordings you make within the app are saved locally on your device only. They are never uploaded, shared, or accessible to anyone other than you.
No analytics. Wilhelm Drop contains no analytics frameworks, crash reporters, or tracking tools of any kind.
No account required. Wilhelm Drop does not ask you to create an account or provide any personal information.
No advertising. Wilhelm Drop contains no advertising SDKs and does not participate in any advertising network.
Permissions Wilhelm Drop Requests
Motion & Fitness (Accelerometer)
Used solely to detect when your phone is in freefall. This data is processed locally and in real time. Nothing is stored or transmitted.
Microphone
Used only when you choose to record a custom sound within the app. Recordings are saved to your device's local storage only. Wilhelm Drop does not access your microphone at any other time.
Third Parties
Wilhelm Drop does not share any data with third parties because it does not collect any data to share. There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or data brokers integrated into Wilhelm Drop.
Data Storage and Retention
All data associated with Wilhelm Drop — including any custom sound recordings — is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data permanently. Z Star Media Inc. has no access to this data at any time.
Children's Privacy
Wilhelm Drop is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
